Case 1
A 12 years old boy, Ho, had an accident while playing basketball in the evening, which caused his front tooth to fall out. His parents brought him to the hospital for treatment. However, there was no dentist at service in the hospital, they could only help him to stop the bleeding. At around 10pm, his parents called us for help. We then examined the child's injury and took some x-rays. We found that the teeth around were slightly loose. The dentist replaced his front tooth and consolidated the loose teeth. After six months of follow-up, his injured tooth was fully recovered.

何小朋友，12歲，在晚上打籃球時發生意外，家長將他送至醫院診治，由於醫院並沒有牙科醫生， 只為小朋友做了止血，約晚上10時，家長再次來電求助，描述小朋友情況後轉送牙醫診治，我們為小朋友做了攝影，拍下X光片，發現附近牙齒有輕微鬆動，牙醫細心處理並修復牙齒亦有輕微鬆動情況，經過半年時間的固定期檢查，受傷的前牙逐漸恢復。
Case 2
Mr. C called our emergency dental service at midnight due to severe pain on his lower molar. It has been causing some discomfort for a few days. Mr. C was on a business trip which was difficult for him to see a dentist. He experienced the severe pain while on the plane with barometric pressure, which affected his sleep and appetite. We immediately saw Mr. C at 1am and conducted oral examination with x-rays. We found there was deep tooth decay at his lower molar. Emergency root canal treatment was carried out. After the dental treatment, Mr. C felt much better and be able to get back to work next day.

Case 3
Emergency dental service received a call from a well-known hotel regarding Mr. E. He experienced dislodged crown at the front tooth. His crown on the front tooth dropped out while having dinner. Yet he had an important meeting in the next morning. We arranged a dental appointment and saw Mr. E within 30 minutes. Oral examination was conducted with x-rays. We successfully re-cemented the crown without causing any pain. After the dental treatment, Mr. E attended to his important meeting the next morning without embarrassment.

Whether you have the tooth or not at the time it fell off from the socket, you have to call for SOS immediately. If you have the tooth with you when it fell off, DON’T wash the tooth with water, place the tooth in a glass of milk or a glass of salty water and immediately go to the SOS clinic.

Usually, a swelling occurs because of an infection. There might be a slight infection in your teeth or gum tissue, or there might even be large amount of abscess that has to be drained. An infected swelling would usually feel quite tender and warm to the touch. You have to call immediately so you could be accurately diagnosed. After checking your teeth thoroughly, an appropriate treatment would be prescribed, as well as antibiotics.
腫脹一般由感染引起，可能是牙齒或牙齦組織出現輕微感染，亦可能已有較大的膿腫需要引流。受感染的腫脹通常會有觸痛，並帶有溫熱感。

This involves continuous bleeding from the extraction site which begins hours or day post operatively? The causes may include failure by the patient to follow the post operative instructions, poor surgical techniques including injury to soft or hard tissues & haemorrhagic diathesis (unknown clotting disorder & antiavasculation, abuse of analgesics, high blood pressure or excessive physical exercise by the patient.
